How long would it take to replace my Roof?:
Every Roof job is different, but typically a standard sized roof can take anywhere from 3-5 days, depending on weather conditions & Inspections.
Here is the process Step by Step
- Day 1: Demolition Day- Can be loud at times. First we set up your property by putting plywood on your driveway, tarping any areas that might be susceptible to falling debris. By the end of the day your home will be waterproof. End of the day clean-up.
- Day 2: Prep day- On this day we prepare your house for inspection. Expect to have crews working around the perimeter of the house, installing the required accessory metals, and replacing any rotted fascia. End of the day clean-up
- Day 3: Inspection Day/ Fabrication Day- On this day, expect to see our supplier’s crew roll forming your metal. Here your roof panels will be fabricated on-site and you will be able to witness the machinery working its magic. Sometime during the day expect to see a County Inspector examine your roof. End of the day clean-up.
- Day 4: Install Day- On this day you should expect to see our metal crews installing your panels. Also expect to see a County Inspector on this day. End of Day Clean-up.
- Day 5: Final Day- On this day we will walk-through & apply any finishing touches. Expect to see a County Inspector for Final Inspection. By this time your Roof should be completed and you can begin enjoying your beautiful new Roof.
What to expect after I call to “The Metal Roof Experts”:
- When you call The Metal Roof Experts, one of our friendly representatives will take all the information needed to begin the quotation process.
- Once we have all your information in our database, you will be assigned to one of our sales representatives. Our Sales Experts will contact you to set up a time and date to take measurements and go over the best options that fit your roofing needs.
- Once you receive your quote via email, Our Sales Expert will keep in touch to make sure you are satified to the best of our ability with the quote we provided.
- When you agree and sign our contract & a the required deposit is made, we will begin processing, ordering materials needed, and filing for your permit right away! The Permitting step usually takes 1-2 weeks for the county to approve the submittals. We have an in house tech to make sure the permit gets filed correctly the first time to avoid delays in permitting.
- Once the permit is issued, your file is handed over to scheduling.
- From demolition, to putting up your brand new roof, this step usually takes anywhere from 3-5 days, depending on weather conditions & inspection requirements.
- When your roof has been completed & paid in full, you will receive your closing package. This package includes your warranty documents, final release of lien, along with survey paperwork. This is sent via mail so you have hard copies, as well as via email, so you have a digital copy.
- Once completed you are left with a beautiful new roof to compliment and protect your home!
